Batch Engineer & Product Support - Incident & Problem management. 24 x7 - ZURICH
Batch Engineer & Product Support urgently required to work in Zurich. You will be responsible for Batch Product Support in the Enterprise Services Competence Center for Batch Management. Providing Global Control-M and associated Batch Tools support for Mainframes in Switzerland. The role covers solution design, Life Cycle Management, maintenance, Optimization, proactive incident prevention and problem resolution to ensure continued stable batch environment
Key Responsibilities : Perform end to end Change, Incident & Problem management. 24 x7 and on call Support outside of Business hours, Install, Upgrade, and Maintain releases of Batch tools in all Development, Testing & Production Environment. Engineering, Product and service responsibility for all batch infrastructure components for Mainframe, Creation and implementation of a concept for the automation of batch software components via modern software request and deployment tools.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a 24x7 support role ensuring availability of Control-M and associated batch tools globally. Essentials Skills required : z/OS, BMC Control-M - Admin level IBM Netview, SMP software installation, TSO, REXX, DB2, Beta92 - Admin level Willingness to work shifts as the company requires and to be contacted after hours to help resolve issues where required.
